I'd wear heels for sure and you can really go crazy with colour since the dress is in a muted shade. If you want to keep the attention on the dress, stick to neutrals but if you want to have fun with shoes, pick contrasting brights.I need tips for 2 occasions, everyday and for going out. I dont like that my butt is visible, but I do have long legs.Thank you so much.

Sounds fun! I've worn hot pink lips and bright eyes to an 80s party before and despite general make up rules - it worked. Glitter never hurts either ;)
